Hide and Seek
(2017)
'Hide And Seek' blends photography, painting and sculpture
into a visual playground that ping-pongs reoccurring elements in
various forms and sizes.
Starting with the idea of a mind
puzzle, I built a miniature playground with sculptures of clay and
metal. From these sculptures, I made paintings and photographs to create a
three-dimensional puzzle sculpture that has no definite solution. I
then invited participants to play with it and photographed the
various outcomes. The photographs, next to the different stages of
the project, became part of the whole installation.
