Dora Lionstone is a visual artist who graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam with a Bachelor of Arts in photography. Before moving to the Netherlands, she was a Software Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Media Informatics.

Driven by a fascination for ambiguities and paradoxes, she aims to challenge the perception of reality while looking for the co-existence of multiple perspectives. With her work, she creates alternative realities as an invitation to dream and wonder, merging fact and fiction, science and imagination.

Her work has been exhibited in FOAM, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Het Nieuwe Instituut, among other exhibitions within Europe. She has been selected as GUP New Talent 2021.
